Born in London in 1960, Tom grew up in the capital and graduated from art school in 1982. Moving to Cornwall in the early nineties his work was much influenced by the open space, light and sea of the far west. Cornwall, on the edge of the Atlantic, offers him a unique sense of place and culture in a well-known and historic artistic environment. He also makes regular visits to the Highlands of Scotland where he has found landscape to inspire his particular painting ability and style |
